Hello and welcome to Episode 5 of The Dancer's Sidekick, a podcast for smart dancers. I'm Kimberley, your dance sidekick, mentor & virtual dance bestie. I'm here to give guidance, support and advice, as you navigate the world of dance.

Unless you've been living under a rock for the last month, you'd be well aware that we've hit Nutcracker season! And we all know what that means.... we're counting down the days to the Holiday break!

A lil fun fact - if you couldn't tell already by the accent, I'm an Aussie. I live in Canada now but for my Australian & New Zealand dancers, Holiday break means a big 6 week Summer break over Christmas & New Year. My Northern Hemisphere dancers only get a couple of weeks to celebrate the season, and then it's back to the studio!

No matter where you live and train, the Christmas/New Year break is a time for celebration, relaxation and reflection. For today's episode, I'm sharing my top tips for the season. How to enjoy the break while staying focused and fit.
